Wierd Birdy Wing Drying
Is this wierd or what? Mary and I were on our morning cruise on the lake, and came across these birds. Standing on the branches with wings out. Drying them? Who knows?
Birds can actually elevate their feathers to cool off - their normal body temperature is higher than a human's. They'll also hold their wings out as another way to cool off.
If you have any other questions about anything at all, please let me know. :-)
Well, I've been a pastor since the "1900's". I've served all my life with the Free Methodist church. The Harbor is a place for people to come and get refueled and repaired! Then, go and find others who need the same. To God be the glory!

They were large birds. Big ones. What kind were they?
Hey!
Mom and I prayed for you tonight. Have a great car show!

They look like they may be Turkey Buzzards to me.
In our winter travels we have seen these birds in Texas and Florida. They are Great Cormorants......R Velich Sr...
